CORE Programs
GMercyU's CORE Programs is dedicated to providing resources and thought-provoking ideas about social justice in response to our country's current climate.
Hosted by the Office for Student Engagement, CORE is designed to create spaces for students to have meaningful conversations and provide learning opportunities about topics that really matter to you and GMercyU.
GMercyU's Core Values include:
- Integrity in Word and Deed
- Respect for the Dignity of Each Person
- Service to Society
- Social Justice in a Diverse World
Our Core Values include a special focus on the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy: Earth, Immigration, Anti-Racism, Non-Violence, Women.
We aren't afraid to talk about controversial subjects, and you shouldn't be either. All we ask if that you come with an open mind, ready to consider other points of view. We all have different lived experiences, so we need to consider that during dialogue.
